A dynamic company needs dynamic personnel

WEB Windenergie AG is using the market opportunities available to a producer of eco-energy. As a result, growth in the human resources area is virtually preprogrammed. However for company success it is most important that such expansion is not only of a quantitative, but also a qualitative nature. Company enlargement is taking place in every area and is guided and controlled by the respective management tier, from the Management Board to the departmental managers. One can even say that the success of the W.E.B business concept is largely dependent upon the players involved, i.e. the company’s personnel.

We are concerned that at our company you will undertake tasks suited to your personality and ability that will provide you with enjoyment, because when both these aspects gel, this can have a highly motivating and inspirational effect. Therefore, the interests/expectations of job applicants and W.E.B as an employer should be largely compatible. For it makes no sense when the two sides are “too far apart”, as this precludes the development of a relationship based on partnership.

Education is only part of the picture

Today, one acquires knowledge in the appropriate educational institutions. However, apart from training, as a company we attach additional importance to the so-called soft skills. These can be defined as constituting numerous qualities, abilities and personal attributes that are often especially important and even a necessity for the exercise of a profession.

Such characteristics include:

• Motivation / Independence / Team skills
• Politeness / Friendliness / Manners / Linguistic abilities

In other words, you should have carefully considered the topic of social and emotional competence. But please do not worry, these things are not new, we merely wish to designate such factors as essential prior to a job application.

Special training by our company

Naturally enough, there is no specific training for some and indeed many of the assignments and activities within the company. Therefore, although a solid, basic education in line with departmental requirements, e.g. in a commercial or technical discipline is always of benefit and important, you can acquire special know-how within the company itself.
